Serenity Safe Haven Outpatient Clinic, Inc. is a community behavior health clinic that provides support to children, teens, adults and families experiencing mental and emotional health challenges. We aim to change lives using a holistic, integrated health approach and create an environment of Serenity and Safety.

Our team is dedicated to providing the total care required to help our clients overcome and recover from mental health disorders. We are comprised of qualified licensed professionals who are committed to your vision of mental health care, so you can trust that when you work with us, you will be in good hands. We promise.
HOW WE DO IT
When you arrive at the clinic, you will be greeted by a member of our staff, who will take you step-by-step to get you started. Next, you or your loved one can expect to receive a thorough assessment to determine your specific needs. This is considered our intake process.
When you arrive for your first visit please bring your active health insurance card and state ID, so we can protect your identity. We want to make sure that you get the best care so we will also need to verify which services who are eligible to receive. Please let us know if you are self-pay so we can ensure that you get the best care at the best possible rate.
Another thing we do to ensure that you get the best care is a personalized care plan created exclusively for your need. At Serenity Safe Haven, we believe in treating the whole person so we will do a comprehensive intake that includes:
Immediately following your intake, our licensed and caring providers will offer treatment recommendations. We will put together a care plan that will meet you where you are and support you through any challenges. We understand for some, this process can be overwhelming, that is why our administration team works hard to take care of the backend details on your behalf. Our team will contact your insurance company to ensure you are getting all the services that you need, and that are covered in your plan. We don't want to stress you with any surprises.
Once we have square away your insurance coverage, you will be scheduled for your first session. This is where the healing begins.

THE CHOICE
Come Prepared to Engage. Be on time for your session and get "unplugged" from your devices, so you can connect, release and get the most from your session. Be Open and Honest. Your therapist is there to understand you. Allow yourself to share openly so your counselor can be the most helpful to you. We will do everything we can to support you so we need you to join us in the process.

Think About Your Goals. Sometimes things may not always be clear, but do your best to create some ideas of what you want to accomplish and what things in your life you would like to change. Let you imagination soar with possibility and hope for a better way. You are not alone.
In between sessions, it is very important that you think about what you talked about with your counselor in the session. Do Your Part. Practice the skills you learned and try the new ideas, techniques or strategies that you also discussed in session.
We are here to serve you with kindness, understanding and with the highest professional standard. Give Us Feedback. Tell us how we are doing. Let your therapist know how things are going. We want to know what is working, and equally as important, we want to know what is not. It is ok to speak up with confidence and respect. This Is a Partnership. Remember, we are here to serve you.
